Vegan Cinnamon French Toast

Now here’s a reason to wake up early—our Cinnamon French Toast. Sliced sourdough bread dipped in a dangerously good mixture of sweetness, and then topped with a delicious glaze made with Nurishh Plain Cream Cheese Style, vanilla and powdered sugar. Oh this will make your mornings so sweet.

how to make

  • In a shallow dish, mix together ground flaxseeds and flour
  • Slowly whisk in milk and let it sit for 15 minutes
  • In a mixing bowl, add the softened vegan butter and beat with a whisk or hand mixer until creamy and smooth
  • Add Nurishh Plain Cream Cheese Style and beat for about a minute to combine
  • Beat in the vanilla
  • Add the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, until desired consistency reached. Place in refrigerator
  • After 15 minutes have passed, whisk the batter
  • Stir in nutritional yeast, maple syrup and cinnamon
  • Cut the bread up into 1-inch thick slices.
  • Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Soak your bread slices in the batter for about 10 seconds on each side.

finishing touches

  • Cook bread slices for about 2 minutes until golden brown
  • Flip and cook for another 2 minutes
  • Put on plate and top with glaze and fresh fruit.

  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
